Invite teammates

Adding a teammate is a one-click flow with two paths — by email, or by shareable invitation link.

Invite by email

From the dashboard:

  1. Settings → Members → Invite member.
  2. Enter the teammate’s email and pick a role (Owner / Agent / Member).
  3. Optionally pick which projects they get access to. Default: all.
  4. Click Send.

The invitee receives an email with a one-time-use acceptance link. Accepting the invitation lands them in the workspace they were invited to — not their previous workspace, if they have one.

If you want to bulk-onboard a team, generate a shareable link:

  1. Settings → Members → Generate invitation link.
  2. Pick the role and projects.
  3. Set an expiry (default: 7 days, max: 30 days).

Anyone with the link can join — there is no per-email check. Roles and project scope are baked into the link.

Roles

RoleCan do
OwnerEverything. Manages billing, plans, members, settings.
AgentWork tickets, change SLAs on tickets, configure automations.
MemberWork tickets, leave replies, see assigned slices.
CustomerCustomer-portal only. Cannot reach app.reqdesk.support.

A user can hold different roles in different workspaces — the role lives on the membership, not on the account.
